BUCKLEY × Scottish Stained Glass
Architectural Stained Glass as Permanent Public Art
Public Art Commission Capabilities — 2026
What if public art could breathe with the sun?
Stained glass is uniquely alive.
As daylight shifts, the work transforms not as decoration, but as architecture itself. Color, intensity, and atmosphere evolve throughout the day, creating an experience that is never static and never finished.
Unlike murals or standalone sculpture, architectural glass becomes part of the building’s life. It is encountered daily, remembered over time, and shaped by the sun itself.
BUCKLEY × Scottish Stained Glass exists to bring this living medium into public space at a permanent, civic scale.
Completed Project
"Sorelle" Charleston, SC
Our first collaboration: a custom architectural stained glass commission for a commercial property in Charleston, South Carolina.
Buckley’s original figurative design was translated into hand-cut stained glass by Scottish Stained Glass artisans demonstrating this partnership’s ability to execute permanent, large-scale work at the highest level of craft and artistic intent.
Sorelle stands as proof that this collaboration moves seamlessly from concept to fabrication to installation, delivering museum quality work integrated directly into the built environment.

Public Art Vision
Embedding Meaning Into Everyday Public Space
Architecture carries meaning, whether intentional or not. Our collaboration integrates original, hand-crafted stained glass directly into the fabric of public buildings becoming part of walls, windows, and facades rather than applied decoration.
Each commission is shaped by the community it serves and realized as a permanent civic element a work of art designed to endure, to evolve through light, and to be experienced over time.
